USA Crowned Davis Cup Champion

The revival of the Davis Cup brought joy to tennis fans all around the world and it didnt dissapoint with a final between USA and Czechoslovakia. 

The best teams, reached the final and with the long awaited showdown pundits were torn on who would win but knew that the doubles tie would be a must to determine the winner.

USA Lined up:

Singles: Leonmonstroso & Fez 

Doubles: Federer2


Singles: Pidzi & Klizan

Doubles: Klizan

The final kicked off with Leonmonstroso def Klizan 7-6 6-1 6-2 and with a 1-0 lead to the USA, Pidzi knew he had to win to level it back and he did it with ease dismantling Fez serving him 3 bagels 6-0 6-0 6-0 leveling the tie up. 

In the doubles Tie which was seen before hand as a crucial match to determine the most likely winnning, Federer2 came up against Klizan an upcomer in doubles and already a top 10 player, both went toe to toe for 3 sets but experience seemed to prevail with Federer2 winning 6-4 6-2 6-4. 

In the fourth tie Klizan faced Fez in what proved to be the deciding match the American proved too strong and prevailed 6-4 6-2 6-4 , with this win USA wrapped the win 3-1 , Crowning them the Davis Cup 2018 Champions.
